Final Dates
We add final dates to existing granite monuments at the cemetery while working to match the style, size and spacing of the original lettering.
Names and Additional Inscriptions
Additional names, dates, terms of endearment and other inscriptions can be engraved when the monument has sufficient space and its condition permits.
Existing Stone Signs
We engrave existing granite entrance signs, address stones, business signs, cemetery signs, boulders and other suitable stone surfaces at their location.
Matching Existing Monument Lettering
When adding lettering to an existing monument, our goal is to make the new inscription coordinate as closely as possible with the original work. We evaluate the lettering style, size, spacing, depth and finish before engraving begins.
Age, weathering, previous engraving methods and the condition of the granite can affect how closely new lettering matches the original inscription. Our team will explain any visible limitations before the work is completed.
How the Engraving Process Works
1. Send the Details
Provide the requested wording, photographs of the existing stone, its location and the cemetery or property information.
2. Site Evaluation
We evaluate the stone, available engraving space, access conditions and existing lettering before confirming the work.
3. On-Site Engraving
Once the wording and layout are approved, our team completes the engraving at the monument or stone’s location.
Cemetery Permission, Access and Scheduling
Some cemeteries require authorization before additional lettering can be completed. Cemetery rules, weather, site access and the condition of the stone may affect scheduling.
For newly created stone signs or projects that are not already at the engraving location, delivery or installation may be available by separate arrangement. Contact our team to discuss the project requirements.
