Monument Design and Customization

What types of monuments do you offer?

We offer upright monuments, flat markers, bevel markers, slant memorials, benches, bronze memorials, mausoleums, columbariums and custom carvings. Our memorials are created from high quality domestic and imported granite, bronze and other appropriate materials.

Can I customize the design?

Absolutely. From the shape and size to the lettering, imagery, and granite color, our team will help you create a meaningful and personal tribute.

Do you offer mausoleums and columbariums?

Yes. We offer custom mausoleums and columbariums in a variety of sizes, granite colors, and designs. Contact us to discuss available options and the requirements of your cemetery.

Do you offer bronze memorials?

Yes. We offer cast bronze memorials and bronze with granite combinations. Bronze memorials can be customized with emblems, portraits, lettering, and inscriptions.

How long does the process take?

Most domestic granite memorials take approximately 8 to 12 weeks. Imported granite and highly customized pieces may take longer. We will keep you informed throughout the process.

Location, Installation and Delivery

Do you install monuments at the cemetery?

Yes. We provide professional monument installation and coordinate directly with the cemetery when necessary.

Do you guarantee your monument installations?

When Rico Monuments installs a memorial, we guarantee the structural integrity of our workmanship. If the memorial settles, leans, or falls because of a defect in our installation or foundation, we will reset it at no cost. This warranty does not cover damage or movement caused by excavation equipment, landscaping tools, or other outside forces.

What do I need to know about cemetery rules?

Each cemetery has its own regulations regarding memorial sizes, materials, foundations, and installation. We are familiar with many local cemeteries and will help ensure that your memorial complies with their requirements.

Do you deliver outside your local area?

We provide regional delivery throughout our service area and can arrange shipping to other states when appropriate. Contact us to discuss the location and type of memorial you need.

Pricing, Payment and Planning

How much do monuments cost?

Pricing depends on the type of memorial, granite color, size, and complexity of the design. We offer a wide range of options and will help you find an appropriate memorial for your needs and budget.

Are there additional cemetery fees?

Some cemeteries charge separate fees for permitting, foundations, installation, or maintenance. These fees are not included in our pricing and may need to be paid directly to the cemetery. We will help explain what is required for your cemetery.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. Payment plans may be available.

Is a deposit required?

Yes. A deposit is required to begin the design and ordering process. The remaining balance is due before installation.

Can I plan a memorial?

Yes. Advance planning allows you to make decisions ahead of time, secure current pricing, and reduce future stress for your loved ones.

Additional Services

Can you add a name or date to an existing monument?

Yes. We provide on-site engraving for final dates, additional names, and other inscriptions. This service is not included in the original monument price and will be billed separately when the engraving is completed.

Do you offer custom or on-site engraving?

Yes. We provide custom engraving for memorials, business signs, address stones, boulders, and other suitable stone surfaces. Please reach out to us so we can evaluate your project and location.
