Founders | First Generation
In 1986, Manny and Barbara Rico established Rico Monuments with a commitment to quality craftsmanship, honest service, and genuine care for every family that came through their doors. Through years of hard work and personal dedication, they built a trusted local business focused on creating lasting memorials that honor life, faith, and family.
Their son, Tracey Rico, helped establish the company and learned the monument trade alongside his father. Tracey and his wife, Dainah, later carried the business into its second generation, preserving the values Manny and Barbara established while helping Rico Monuments serve more families throughout Chattanooga and the surrounding region.
On August 1, 2025, ownership passed to Manny and Barbara’s grandson, Blaine Rico, and his wife, Rachel. As the third-generation owners, Blaine and Rachel continue the family tradition through hands-on craftsmanship, personal guidance, and careful stewardship of the business.
The tools, techniques, and responsibilities have evolved over the years, but the foundation Manny and Barbara created remains unchanged: treat every family with compassion and create every memorial with care.
