Blaine and Rachel Rico became the owners of Rico Monuments on August 1, 2025, continuing a family tradition of memorial craftsmanship that began in 1986.
Blaine grew up in the monument business, learning the trade from his parents, Tracey and Dainah Rico, and from his grandparents, founders Manny and Barbara Rico. Today, he balances the physical work of the trade with the responsibilities of running the company. He works alongside the team to design, engrave, clean, reset, deliver, and install memorials, while also overseeing projects, equipment, and the daily operations of the business.
Rachel manages much of the behind-the-scenes work that keeps the business organized, including bookkeeping, financial administration, website management, and marketing. She also works to improve the company’s systems and processes, helping daily operations run as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
Together, Blaine and Rachel combine hands-on craftsmanship, careful business management, and respect for each family they serve. Their goal is to preserve the values on which Rico Monuments was built while preparing the company to serve future generations.
